Pappai has been developed in order to enhance the quality and genuineness of the agro-food products from Sardinia and to provide users and potential consumers with a service which guides them in choosing Sardinian products, according to their eating needs, intolerances and allergies. The project, which has been carried out with EC funds (ERDF ROP Sardinia 2007-2013) has involved the development of a showcase of agro-food products accessible from web site and mobile device. The products are presented, both in Italian and English language, through a short informative description, nutritional characteristics, ingredients (including allergens), story, recipes and any other useful information to highlight their connotation of typical Sardinian products.
